How to perform the dumbbell standing calf raise

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your toes pointing forward. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, with your arms resting at your sides. Slowly raise your heels off the ground, coming onto the balls of your feet, and squeeze your calves at the top of the movement. Slowly lower your heels back to the ground, maintaining control throughout the exercise.
