How to perform the dumbbell squat

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand, with your arms resting at your sides or placed on your shoulders. Keep your chest up and your core engaged as you push your hips back and bend your knees, lowering your body into a squat position. Make sure your knees track over your toes and do not cave in. Drive through your heels and engage your glutes to return to the starting position.
