How to perform the single arm lat pulldown
- Attach a single handle to a cable machine with a high pulley. Stand facing the machine and grasp the handle with your right hand, using an overhand grip. Step back and bend your knees slightly, leaning your torso back slightly. Engage your core and pull the handle down toward your chest, focusing on using your lat muscles and keeping your elbow close to your body. Slowly extend your arm to return to the starting position. Complete your desired number of reps on the right side before switching to the left side.
