How to perform the rowing machine
- Sit on the rowing machine and secure your feet in the footrests. Grasp the handle with an overhand grip, arms extended. Start by pushing off with your legs, extending your knees and hips. As your legs straighten, lean back slightly and pull the handle toward your lower chest, engaging your lats and upper back. Reverse the movement by extending your arms, hinging forward at your hips, and bending your knees to return to the starting position. Maintain a smooth, continuous motion throughout the exercise.
