How to perform the barbell front raise

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart, and arms extended in front of your thighs. With a slight bend in your elbows, raise the barbell straight up in front of you until it is parallel to the ground. Lower the barbell back down to your thighs and repeat for the desired number of reps.
